For the Romans, Jews and pagans, the cross was a devise of torture and humiliation. But when Jesus ascended the cross by His own will, it has become a standard of victory. Learn what the Church teaches about the Cross. You just may go home with a deeper appreciation of your Orthodox Faith! Our faith is made strong, wisdom is gained when we read and study the Holy Bible. 

By reading, understanding and studying the Bible, we hear God’s plan for us.
When we study, we look at 4 aspects:
1- the historical event
2- the meaning to the intended audience
3- the spiritual revelation
4- how it applies to us today.
